1 litre Clamato juice (or Tomato juice)
398 ml pureed tomatoes
2 pkg beef boullion
2 pkg chicken boullion
3 1/2 cups water
1 Tbsp. Oregano
1 Tbsp. Basil
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Mix together in dutch oven or stock pot. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
Brown 2 cups of ground beef in a fry pan. Drain off fat.
Saute: 1 medium onion, diced
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 large carrots, sliced
2 cups shredded cabbage ( I pre-boil and drain - to decrease burp factor!)
398ml kidney beans - drained and rinsed
Add to first mixture and simmer for 30 minutes
Cook: 1 cup corksrew pasta to pkg directions and add to soup
Yeild 5-6 servings
