Farmer's Brownies

1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 cup boiling water
 3/4 cup margerine
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk (or sour milk)
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
Mix cocoa in water. Stir in margerine and allow to cool. Mix together dry ingredients and stir into cocoa mixture. add eggs. Beat is buttermilk and vanilla. add nuts. Spread on greased jellyroll pan. Bake for 20 minutes in 350F oven.
