Basic Pesto Sauce

This is a great sauce to make in the summer when the herbs are fresh from the garden.
It is great on any type of  hot pasta served with any grilled meat or just pasta by itself.
It freezes well. I like to freeze in an ice cube tray and can add to any type of other sauces.

1 cup fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup fresh parsley, stems removed
1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup pine nuts
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup olive oil
Blend well in blender
